Wired Networking at South Carolina
At the University of South Carolina, residence halls, offices, conference areas, and some common areas have wired network access jacks.

Wired Networking for Faculty/Staff All University faculty and staff have access to the network. For departments under a Service Level Agreement with University Technology Services, network connecting and maintenance is handled by UTS. Check with your departmental administrator to see if you have UTS network support, or call the UTS Help Desk at 803-777-1800. If your department does not have a service agreement with UTS, your setup and maintenance will be provided by your network manager. As a Univeristy faculty/staff member, you will need your network username and password to access the University network:
When you boot your computer, you will be prompted for your username and password. If the login is successful, you should automatically be connected to the University network.
