USC Law Enforcement and Safety also has three programs available for students:
- Register mobile devices with Project I.D.
- Purchase a S.T.O.P. tag which is affixed to the laptop.
- Engrave devices with identifiable information.

Illegal sharing and downloading of music, movies and software is against the law. USC works with law enforcement to protect copyrighted material.
