The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) is an international consortium of more than 700 academic institutions and research organizations. Through ICPSR you have access to specialized collections and research archives. The organization maintains an online data archive of more than 500,000 files of research in the social sciences. ICPSR also provides leadership and training in data access, curation, and methods of analysis for the social science research community.

Microsoft Office OneNote is an extremely flexible program for gathering, archiving, searching and sharing all types of media. OneNote lets you gather typed notes, emails, documents, web web links and text, audio clips, and video into an electronic notebook. You can organize the information quickly, and run specific searches using a powerful search engine. It is an effective tool for gathering research, building dissertations and journal articles, and collaborating with groups. It can also be used in the teaching environment for assembling course materials, building lesson plans, and tracking class interactions.

SharePoint is a premier tool for facilitating group collaboration and research. Members of a SharePoint group connect online through a secure login to:
Your SharePoint workspace is protected by a secure login, and individual members can be granted or restricted access to general or specific features, including individual documents.
University Technology Services will host your SharePoint site on our secure server system, which is monitored on a 24/7 basis. You may administer your own site, or take advantage of UTS administrator services. To learn more about UTS SharePoint services, click here.
